The Waste Management committee has been enthusiastically
implementing a waste management program, a policy and procedure that facilitate
cost-effective environmental performance. This program provokes waste
minimization and pollution prevention.
In view of the Clean Air Act 1999 and Clean water Act 2004,
the Pollution Control Committee is working to control and prevent pollution of
air and water as a result of emissions or discharges that may be generated from
the company’s various activities. The EMS Certificate is not the end of the course of DLS-HSC
but the beginning of a never ending chore of saving the environment.
The entire
DLS-HSC body will continually implement, maintain and improve the Environmental
Management System to assure conformance of its environmental policy and to
ensure compliance with the environmental regulations. Commitment of each and
everyone is exceedingly encouraged in saving our environment for you and for
the generations to come.
