The company has certified over three hundred fifty (350) firms since 1991, 80% of which are multi-national corporations.

In order to further support the local industry, TÜV Rheinland Philippines Inc. established its Philippine Laboratory located at Unit 8, La Fuerza Plaza I, Don Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City to undertake electrical safety testing. This is also in response to the call of our government regulators for more active participation of the private sector in ensuring consumer protection. The company is equipped to test and certify a wide range of products for compliance with national and international requirements. Performing the product approval at TÜV Rheinland laboratory means that all work is done at the laboratory. All necessary work such as testing, documentation and certification is done at the site. The manufacturer is informed regularly about the progress of the approval process. Using the laboratory service is especially suitable for manufacturers that do not have the necessary calibrated measuring instruments and/or testing facilities. TÜV Rheinland's service conserves your valuable time and human resources. The testing schedule can be arranged very conveniently.

TÜV Rheinland Philippines Inc. is the first international Conformity Assessment Body to establish a testing laboratory to undertake electrical product safety testing according to IEC 60598 (Luminaires), IEC 60335 (Household Appliances) and IEC60950 (IT Equipment) and IEC60065 (Audio-Video products).
